shingles pictures

Shingles is characterized by modest blisters with a red base, that follow along the route of the nerve fibers or dermatomal pattern the virus has been living in. It’s caused by exactly the same virus that causes chickenpox, which is reactivated when the person is under emotional tension, has an immune illness, for example, AIDS or is becoming treated with chemotherapy for remedy of cancer.
